Pallet Truck Price Increase
Posted on | Posted in General
On 22nd April 2013 the EU imposed new import duties on hand pallet trucks entering the UK. This will result in a significant price increase on pump trucks; making the concept of service and repair a more cost effective option than before. With an average repair cost at around a third of that of a new pallet truck, the saving alone makes it the sensible business decision.
Health and safety legislation dictates that pallet trucks have an annual inspection, so getting your pallet trucks serviced at the same time is yet another sensible business decision. In our experience, regular servicing reduces the likelihood of needing expensive repairs and thus the lifetime cost of each hand pallet truck is reduced: This is also true for high lift pallet trucks, pedestrian scissor lift trucks and most other manually operated trucks and trolleys.
HallmarkFIX offer nationwide, professional on-site inspection, servicing and repair of pallet trucks; whether just one or a whole fleet. If you’re responsible for keeping your pallet trucks rolling call Clive Parry now on 0161 272 1900 even if you’re a long way from Manchester, you’re unlikely to be far from a HallmarkFIX engineer!
