Get your annual pallet truck inspections sorted with HallmarkFIX
Pallet trucks need an annual inspection to meet HSE regulations. It can also help you avoid a costly breakdown, greatly extending the working life of the equipment you use day-in, day-out.
For just £99.00 (excl. VAT), we’ll come to site and service up to three pallet jacks, with lower rates for larger fleets.
A regularly serviced pallet truck pays off – it reduces the risk of downtime, ensures it’s safe to use, and prevents costly replacements.
We make the whole process as simple as possible for you, no matter how many times a year you want us to come out, or where you want us to go.
We cover mainland UK
Whether you’re in the North, the South, or somewhere in between, we’ve got you covered.
We work nationwide, and can be on site quickly – you won’t be kept waiting. This means that if you’re responsible for multiple locations, we can take care of them all!

What's involved in a pallet truck inspection?
We want your working day to be disrupted as little as possible – our engineers aren’t quite invisible, but they’ll do everything they can to make sure you can carry on as normal while on site.
Your visiting engineer will assign each of your trucks a unique ID, which we’ll log in our database along with serial numbers, for traceability.
They will then check that your trucks are in good working order, adjusting, lubricating, and carrying out any minor repairs (all of which is included in the price).
Common chargeable pallet truck maintenance on the day includes:
- Removing tape and string from around the wheels and axles, reducing the need for new wheels or bearings.
- Repairing any oil leaks from hydraulic units – even small leaks will eventually lead to a failure.
- Checking and fixing chain links in the trigger mechanisms.
- Replacing brushes on the handle axle to keep the handle pumping nice and smoothly.
Any major repairs, including a second visit, or the need to move the truck to our workshop for anything involving welding, will be quoted on the day so you can make a decision.
Everything’s logged in the database, and we’ll send you service reminders when your next inspection is due. Simple!
